Snakes and Ladders is a classic
childhood game but it is also a battle of good and evil. As one negotiates childhood one’s life is
complicated by virtues (ladders) and vices (snakes). Each slither into evil is a learning experience. Whether one succeeds on reaching adulthood
intact or not depends not on the experiences but on whether one learns from
them.
