PICASSO'S GOAT

Picasso's harlequins were guides of the soul, mischievous gods situated between hell (with its creatures of the night) and heaven (with its promise of rapture).  The goat is a symbol of lust and procreation - the fire of ecstasy (whether or not one can handle it).
