AN ARTIST AND HIS MUSES

Traditionally artist’s muses were female although they can be any sentient being that inspires passion.  Art, love, and passion are very clearly related because most everything in the Arts revolves around knowledge and the enjoyment of beauty in one form or another.  Confucius says “Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it” and the role of the muses is to aid in this search for beauty.

A young woman in leather rebelling against the strictures of society.  The motorcycle is a means to move forward, to experience life and gain independence.  But having a place of refuge near by is a useful thing.

HOUSE OF CARDS

Relationships are often built on shaky foundations and can easily collapse when elements are overlooked or unappreciated.  Often a combination of earthy sexuality (snake) and romantic love (rose), the secret is to find the right balance, the perfect harmony of yin and yang.  Only then can the House remain standing.
