True Muses stay dreams forever unless artists connect them to exploratory work – Robert Genn. The Muses have always been with me but I feel I am now doing the exploratory work required to give form to the thoughts. The figures remain central but the abstracted spaces they inhabit are new to me and oh so exciting! I am off to Japan shortly to soak up Japanese art and culture and then to a workshop with New York Art Students League instructor Max Ginsburg. Not sure how this will affect my art but am looking forward to seeing where the muses take me.
